The 2007 Miracle Ride supported Pulmonology and the Burn Center.  The Pulmonology department will utilize the funding to support new patient education materials and parent groups for families who are under great stress; a Family Day for Cystic Fibrosis families; research for newborns with with upper airway obstruction and feeding difficulties; and provide additional social work and nursing support.  The Burn Unit offers Indiana’s only dedicated pediatric burn unit, providing services that help young victims cope with the physical, emotional and social scars associated with often devastating injuries.
